DONATIONS NEEDED

Curly-Leaf Pondweed is established in Lake Andrews and will only get more abundant in future years if left untreated. There is only a small window of time in the spring when treatment can occur and the Lake Andrews Association’s goal is to apply treatment in spring 2023. Just membership dues alone will not cover the high costs for surveying/treatment of this plant. Please go to the Donate Page and donate now, your donation will be used towards surveys and treatment costs for Curly-Leaf Pondweed. NOTE: Curly-Leaf Pondweed is well established in Lake Andrew and only one season of treatment(s) will not eradicate this invasive plant. Research has shown years of survey, treatments and Lake Management Planning are needed. The Lake Andrews Association’s goal is to manage and reduce plant growth and its effects on native Lake habitat and recreational use in future years.

Thank You, LAA Board
